It was a good tree. It will be missed. But we take comfort, knowing we will see it again some day, (it's made of plastic)

Todays Big Accomplishment
Tried to throw out the old gas grill. The garbage collectors don't want to take it, so I decided to go all Psycho Serial Killer on it and hack it to tiny pieces and sneak it into the garbage so no one will ever know. Cut it into little bits and stuffed the entire grill into it's own firebox and taped it shut. Hides perfectly in a regular *strangely-heavy* garbage bag. The garbage man will never find out... In the old days this would have been done with a huge sledge hammer and help from an enthusiastic brother.

Dumbest Scam Artist I've ever heard from
Some random idiot, (apparently Mr. Bryan Carter of 1428 South Concord St, St. Paul, MN) sent me a cashier's check in the amount of $54oo on saturday. Just got an envelope, with a check and a blank piece of paper inside. A genius plan. Would have been great, except he FORGOT to ASK for anything in return!! Just mail a phony check to a random stranger with no instructions, no contact phone number, no previous contact, nothing. At least he will have trouble getting caught this way, since I have no way to find him (unlisted phone number) . This is one bright scam artist. HA! he thinks, lets see the police catch me with this one. I'll just send money to people, and then hide! What a moron.

Getting in the Christmas Spirit
Jake has a Santa hat. Ho, Ho, Ho!
It's kinda hard to feel like Christmas with all the warm weather. Still no snow in sight. Gets too warm every day for stuff to freeze. This picture I took on Saturday. The ice skating rinks in town melted and dried up... Bah-Humbug. Becky and I went for a 6o mile long ATV ride on Sunday. December 17? Snowmobiles?!? Global warming?

The Living Room Blanket Fort
Jacob's first ever Super Secret Fort. Probably won't be his last.
I remember making these when I was little.

Leah and Luke's New House
We took the Aerial photo from the mobile scaffold truck, scary! It sways a lot when it's fully extended. They are a little further along than this right now, Luke will be building it mostly this winter when his job closes for the season. Luke's family gave us a deer, I brought some to a guy and had it made into sausages, just got 40 pounds of sausage back today. I got 13 pounds of pepperoni snack sticks, they are like Slim Jims except they taste good, and they're bigger. Can't stop eating them, eating as I type, must have ate 5 pouonds already... Deer taste good.. mmmm...
the Jumparoo
Jacob LOVES this thing, he jumped so long he ran out of energy and went to sleep. When I tried to take him out, he woke up and started jumping again. He upgraded from the sink to swimming in the jacuzzi. Probably going to enjoy that more later when he can swim laps on his own. Still no snow really, just starting to get pretty cold.
